NPLATE (romiplostim) for injection
Romiplostim is approved to treat: Thrombocytopenia (low platelet levels). Romiplostim is used in certain patients with ITP who have not gotten better with other treatment.
Nplate, A drug used to treat thrombocytopenia (a low blood platelet count) in adults and in certain children with immune thrombocytopenic purpura that did not get better with other treatment. It is also being studied in the treatment of other conditions and types of cancer. Nplate binds to the thrombopoietin receptor, which causes the bone marrow to make more platelets. It is a type of thrombopoietin receptor agonist. Also called AMG 531 and romiplostim.
