VYLOY (zolbetuximab-clzb) for injection
Tezacaftor/ivacaftor and ivacaftor combination is used to treat cystic fibrosis (CF) in patients 6 years of age and older. It is only used for patients who have two copies of F508del mutation, or who have at least one mutation in their CF transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene.
SYMDEKO is a combination of tezacaftor and ivacaftor, indicated for the treatment of cystic fibrosis (CF) in patients age 6 years and older who are homozygous for the F508del mutation or who have at least one mutation in
the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene that is responsive to tezacaftor/ivacaftor based on in vitro data and/or clinical evidence.
Ivacaftor is a medication used to treat cystic fibrosis in people with certain mutations in the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene (primarily the G551D mutation), who account for 4–5% cases of cystic fibrosis. It is also included in combination medications, lumacaftor/ivacaftor, tezacaftor/ivacaftor, and elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor which are used to treat people with cystic fibrosis.
