TREMFYA (guselkumab) injection
Guselkumab injection is used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in patients who may benefit from receiving phototherapy (ultraviolet light treatment) or other treatments. Plaque psoriasis is a skin disease with red patches and white scales that do not go away.
TREMFYA is a prescription medicine used to treat adults:
• with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis who may benefit from taking injections or pills (systemic therapy) or phototherapy
(treatment using ultraviolet or UV light)
• with active psoriatic arthritis (PsA).
It is not known if TREMFYA is safe and effective in children under 18 years of age
Guselkumab, sold under the brand name Tremfya, is a monoclonal antibody against interleukin-23 used for the treatment of plaque psoriasis. Active ingredient: guselkumab
