Polatuzumab vedotin-piiq is approved to treat: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Polatuzumab vedotin-piiq is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
A drug used with other drugs to treat adults with certain types of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Polivy contains a monoclonal antibody that binds to a protein called CD79B, which is found on B cells (a type of white blood cell) and some lymphoma cells. It also contains an anticancer drug, which may help kill cancer cells. Polivy is a type of antibody-drug conjugate. Also called polatuzumab vedotin.
POLIVY is a prescription medicine used with other medicines (a rituximab product, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, and prednisone) as a first treatment for adults who have moderate to high risk diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), not otherwise specified (NOS) or high-grade B-cell lymphoma (HGBL).
Polatuzumab vedotin is indicated in combination with bendamustine and a rituximab product for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. It is used:
With rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin hydrochloride, and prednisone as the first treatment in adults who have low-intermediate to high-risk DLBCL or high-grade B-cell lymphoma. With bendamustine hydrochloride and rituximab in adults whose DLBCL has come back or has not gotten better after at least two other therapies.
